Quickcut ICC was been specifically designed to simplify color
management, enabling you to see exactly how your ads will appear once
they're printed.
By assessing the color profiles of the publisher or printer you are
sending your file to, Quickcut ICC can provide you with a preview of
what your file will look like after it's been printed.
In the same way that QuickPrint takes into account a publisher or
printer's mechanical specs when creating an EPS or PDF of your ad,
Quickcut ICC operates similarly with respect to color profiles.
And because Quickcut ICC works directly on the PDF file, you see your
files are in the final format that will be delivered to the publisher
or printer, so there's even less chance for deviation or inaccuracy.
By calibrating your monitor and printer profiles with the color
profiles of where you're sending your file, the Quickcut ICC software
allows you to proof files on screen as well as in hard copy form from a
local printing device.
Quickcut ICC even simulates the color of the publisher or printer's
paper stock, meaning what you see is now exactly what you get.
Also, since Quickcut ICC manages color profiles before any files are
sent, no further color management is needed to get the final result you
intended.
But the best part is that all of this is done without you even having
to lift a finger. Quickcut ICC automatically updates it's color
profiles to any changes by publishers or printers, which means you'll
always get the most accurate representation of your file.
