PageStore 3
PageStore 3 is a major update of PageStore,
the advertising distribution system which delivers QuickPrint-validated
PDF files for publication.
PageStore 3 consists of two applications:
PageStore Server, which controls the jobs
database and communications; and PageStore,
a desktop application which gives each user access to PageStore
jobs.There is also an option to install the database and job
files on a separate server. All the applications can operate
on either MacOS X or PC Windows. PageStore 3 can be used in
a mixed environment if the PageStore Server application is
run on a Windows server.

New features in PageStore 3.1
 Scripting
Scripting is now enabled, providing the ability to write customised
scripts for internal workflow.
Localisation
A German-language version is now available. Asian language
versions are in development.
Automation
functions
An Enable/Disable flag for QAutomate has been added in the
Admin Preferences window. The Automation menu is only available
if this flag is set. The flag is turned off by default.
Automatic notification of new version
On opening, PageStore 3.1 displays a dialog which contains
download and install instructions if a new version of the
software has been released.
Soft
proofing
A new Soft Proof Approved field shows whether the PDF has
been approved/not approved by a soft proofing device. This
is required for clients who have purchased the ICS/Adstream
Integrated Proofing Solution.
Improved
Production Gateway
The Production Gateway no longer defaults to the Production
folder. When browsing for a path, it now defaults to the last
path that was selected.
Job
Details Window changes
"Zoom to fit" has been changed to "Scale to
fit" as it was in PageStore 2.
Active
Job Viewer changes
If the window is refreshed the current selections are retained.
Refresh button now updates all relevant settings.

The on-line help has been updated.
