Now there’s one place you can find the mechanical specs for any publication in the world.

Mechanical Specs Online is the interface used to create Quickcut’s centralised global database containing the exact specifications for newspaper & magazine publishers around the world

Publishers & printers enter the mechanical specifications for all their publications directly into the database, including every element necessary to successfully output a job. And because it’s all updated & maintained by the publishers & printers themselves, you can be absolutely sure the information you’re using is correct.

This information is then available to QuickPrint users around the world.

It also means that publishers & printers never need to worry about manipulating files at their end ever again.

When you create a file using QuickPrint, it automatically synchronises your document with the Mechanical Specs Online database, setting them to the exact requirements of the publisher or printer you are sending to. So all you have to worry about is creating great work.

For more information on how Mechanical Specs Online can work for you, take a minute to check out the Quick Tour.

Anyone new to QuickPrint must register online before they can use the service. This can be done via the link in the QuickPrint application, or by clicking here.

· Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0 or above

Note: Spec Manager is data entry tool for publishers. Where QuickPrint is for advertisers & trade houses to create & check spec compliant advertising, this relies on the specs entered by publishers via the Spec Manager.
